Salesforce Cyber Week 2025: Record Sales & AI Trends

Salesforce predicts that Cyber Week 2025 — running from November 27 to December 1 — will hit an unprecedented $334 billion in global sales, driven in large part by the growing influence of AI and intelligent agents.

Of that total, Salesforce estimates that $73 billion (about 22%) will be influenced by AI agents — a significant jump from their 2024 forecast.

This forecast comes from Salesforce’s proprietary Shopping Index, which compiles data across platforms like Agentforce Commerce, Service, and Marketing to analyze the behavior of over 1.5 billion global shoppers across 1.5 trillion page views.

A key trend for this Cyber Week is the dominance of mobile commerce: Salesforce expects 70% of orders and 80% of traffic to come from mobile devices.

Even more telling, 25% of all purchases during this period are projected to be made using mobile wallets like Apple Pay.

Retailers are also maintaining strong bets on in-store shopping, with Salesforce forecasting that 65% of U.S. holiday sales during Cyber Week will happen in physical stores — a reminder that brick-and-mortar is still very much in play.

On the deal front, Salesforce expects deep discounts across several categories. Globally, the biggest price cuts will hit beauty and makeup (40%), apparel (34%), and skincare (33%).

In the U.S., general apparel (37%), health and beauty (35%), and home goods (23%) are likely to see the steepest markdowns.

Salesforce’s early data (from October 1 to November 15) supports this bullish outlook. They report rising digital traffic — nearly doubling in the U.S. and tripling globally — and strong year-over-year growth in online sales.

Retailers that have deployed branded AI agents are already seeing big gains: conversion rates are about 5% higher, and sales growth is more than double that of those without agent capabilities.

In short, Salesforce’s 2025 Cyber Week forecast not only signals a record-setting shopping week but also underlines how AI agents, mobile commerce, and cross-channel retail are reshaping the holiday retail landscape.
