Edibles.com Expands THC Delivery to 65% of U.S. Population

Edibles.com, launched by Edible Brands, is delivering federally legal THC products to 65% of the U.S., combining e-commerce, same-day delivery, and a new retail store strategy.

Edibles.com has significantly expanded its reach, now offering direct shipping of federally compliant THC products to 65% of the U.S. population. This expansion follows a successful pilot program and includes same-day delivery in key states like Texas, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina through the Edible Brands fulfillment network.

Expanding Access to Hemp-Based Products

Edible Brands, formerly known as Edible Arrangements, launched Edibles.com as an e-commerce marketplace for hemp-based products. The site initially launched in Texas and has since broadened its availability.

The company aims to enhance consumer confidence by offering a curated selection of lab-tested products from leading edible manufacturers such as Wana, Wyld, Kiva Confections and 1906.

Strategic Growth and Consumer Focus

The expansion into THC product delivery is a strategic move for Edible Brands, leveraging their existing infrastructure and brand recognition. CEO of Edible Brands, Somia Farid Silber, noted the company's interest in the health and wellness angle of hemp products, especially with increasing legalization.

The initiative is spearheaded by Thomas Winstanley, EVP of Edibles.com, a veteran of the cannabis industry.

Winstanley highlighted the challenges consumers face in the hemp industry regarding perception, education and accessibility. Edibles.com aims to address these issues by providing a reliable delivery service, a robust education center and partnerships with reputable brands.

This approach is designed to make it easier for consumers to access premium, vetted products with the convenience they expect.

Future Plans and Industry Impact

Beyond its digital presence, Edible Brands is also pursuing a physical retail strategy. A flagship store is planned for Atlanta, which will serve as a prototype for a national rollout and a limited franchising program.

This dual approach of online delivery and physical retail aims to solidify Edibles.com's position in the rapidly evolving hemp market, which is estimated to be a $28 billion industry. The company's commitment to quality and consumer education is expected to drive industry growth and shape the future of THC products.
