Hardware retailers have made a significant mark by securing two spots in the top ten of the Total Retail 2023 Top 100 Omnichannel Retailers list, highlighting their excellence in offering seamless omnichannel services. The Home Depot and Ace Hardware stand out for their integration of digital and physical retail channels, ranking second and tying for sixth place, respectively. The Home Depot stood alone in second, while Ace Hardware tied for sixth with apparel retailer Abercrombie & Fitch.

This recognition is based on the evaluation of omnichannel services such as supply chain efficiency, loyalty programs, payment options, and customer service, across nine criteria including buy online, pick-up in-store capabilities, and curbside pickup. The achievement underscores the importance of creating a unified shopping experience across all consumer touchpoints, a strategy that has positioned these hardware retailers as leaders in the evolving retail landscape.

Ace Hardware also recently secured the No. 5 spot on the Franchise Times’ Top 400 List, ranking top franchises.
